Responsibilities:
• Create and implement an ambience appropriate to the prestige lifestyle image of the store.
• Identify key clients and develop effective client relations to create repeat and continued business.
• Maximize sales by implementing and monitoring sales assistants’ client books and sales ability.
• Lead by example and achieve or exceed personal sales targets.
• Liaise with Director to define and implement the standards of operations concerning sales staff with regards to challenging, supporting and developing staff to achieve targets.
• In conjunction with the Director, ensure that visual merchandising standards in the store are world class and exceed the brand’s expectations whilst optimizing store layout.
• Ensure effective and accurate management of Merchandising.
• Ensure Company security procedures are observed at all stages in the sale process from changing room to POS, etc.
• Ensure procedures, protocols are managed and recommend changes and improvements in operational management and efficiency.
• Communicate feedback on customer preferences, buying behaviour and sell through data to Director and Buying Director.
• Communicate feedback to address customer complaints and identify any areas where adjustments to the procedure need to be addressed.
• Participate in buying trips if appropriate.
• Identify key trends in the market specifically for sales activities and define the relevance to the organization in adopting and applying new trends in the Company – in consultation with the Operations Director.
• Ensure manpower scheduling makes optimal use of resources.
• Liaise with Training Manager to provide regular product knowledge and sales training to team.
• Create an atmosphere and culture where individuals are encouraged and motivated to succeed and high achievements are recognized.
• Actively contribute to the training, guiding and development of new staff to improve core skills and retention levels.
• Conduct comprehensive store orientation for new employees.
• Undertake performance management and appraisals on all subordinates.
• Support the Director & HR Department to ensure the recruitment of high caliber, qualified staff at all levels to help achieve the business targets within budgeted staffing plans.
• Conduct weekly team meetings with subordinates.
• Generate period reports as required by Director.
• Attend and contribute to regular line management team meetings.
• Carry out assignments as directed by line Manager.
• Ensure the management of staffing rosters and leave that meet business requirements and consider Employees needs.
