  PURPOSE OF POSITION
Service – Ensure the efficiency, effectiveness and security of data services as well as the mix of in house versus out sourced services.
Risk Management - Align IT risk management with enterprise-wide risk management
Business Process - Optimize and design enterprise processes via IT. Define and adjust IT standards and technologies
Enterprise Infrastructure and Applications - Optimize costs of services through a mix of internal and external resources
Leadership – Build, develop and lead a motivated, effective and cohesive team of people who will manage Systems development.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Lead the execution of technology strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
•Make sure to attract, recruit and keep the right people for the technology team.
•Build, develop and lead a high-end technology team and oversee research and development, as well as project management.
•Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape.
•Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and company operations.
•Ensure the security of the data, information systems, communication lines, and equipment.
•Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
•Ensure the highest quality for all technology related services offered by the company.
•Identify emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the company.
•Assess new computing technologies to determine potential value for the company.
•Work closely with other departments to keep technology visions inline.
•Oversee ongoing improvements and the feasibility of system enhancements.
•Develop and establish operating policies and approaches for computing and information technology

REQUIREMENTS:

•University degree or equivalent is essential in IT related discipline.
•At least 8 years of experience Enterprise Architecture
•At least 6 years experience in Java EE, databases, networking and application/web servers.
•Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion is mandatory for this position along with honesty and integrity.
•Strong time and people management skills are essential.
•Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular web application framework.
•Familiar with more than one software development methodology.
•Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications.
•Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Excellent interpersonal skills.
•Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
