Job Title: Site Stock Keeper
Job Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and organized Construction Site Stock Keeper with a strong focus on MEP materials, specifically plumbing. As a Construction Site Stock Keeper, your primary role is to dispense and receive stock accurately, log stock movement, and conduct stock counts periodically. The responsibilities will include:
1. Material Knowledge: Demonstrate expertise in MEP materials, with emphasis on plumbing material. Understand various plumbing systems, such as water supply, drainage, and ventilation.
2. Inventory Management: Maintain an organized system for receiving, storing, and issuing plumbing materials. Conduct regular stock checks and ensure accurate record-keeping.
3. Procurement: Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure a timely and cost-effective supply of plumbing materials. Source and select reliable suppliers for plumbing materials.
4. Quality Control: Inspect incoming plumbing materials for quality and compliance with specifications. Monitor and maintain the condition of stored materials to prevent damage.
5. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed records of plumbing materials, including specifications, quantities, and suppliers. Generate reports on stock levels, usage, and discrepancies.
6. Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to understand material requirements. Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials are available as needed.
7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines when handling plumbing materials. Ensure all materials meet relevant industry standards and codes.
8. Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with suppliers, project teams, and other stakeholders. Provide timely updates on stock levels and address any issues promptly.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications a plus.
2. English, French, and Arabic literate.
3. Proven experience as a Construction Site Stock Keeper with a focus on MEP materials, specifically plumbing.
4. In-depth knowledge of plumbing materials, systems, and industry standards.
5. Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
