KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Legal Advisory:
•Offer high-level, strategic legal counsel to the organization on complex and critical legal matters.
•Provide expert guidance on various areas of law, including contracts, corporate governance, employment issues, and regulatory compliance.

Contract Review and Drafting:
•Oversee the review, drafting, and negotiation of complex contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
•Ensure that contracts adhere to legal requirements and align with the organization's strategic goals.

Corporate Governance:
•Lead efforts to ensure full compliance with corporate governance principles and best practices.
•Provide expert advice on intricate corporate structure, governance, and board procedures.

Employment Law:
•Advise on high-level employment law matters, including employment contracts, terminations, and labor-related issues.
•Play a key role in resolving complex employment disputes and labor-related challenges.




Regulatory Compliance:
•Maintain a deep understanding of complex laws and regulations relevant to the industry and the organization.
•Lead the development of comprehensive strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and manage high-level risks.

Dispute Resolution:
•Manage or oversee complex legal disputes, litigation, and claims, including coordination with external legal counsel when necessary.

Contract Management:
•Establish and maintain an advanced contract management system for complex agreements and contracts.
•Monitor and ensure the high-level performance of contracts.

Legal Research:
•Conduct advanced legal research and analysis to provide strategic insights that drive key business decisions.
•Keep the organization informed of the latest legal developments and their impact on operations.

Training and Education:
•Deliver advanced legal training and education to employees and senior management to ensure a high level of awareness of complex legal issues and compliance requirements.

Confidentiality and Data Privacy:
•Implement and maintain high-level data privacy policies and practices to safeguard confidential information and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:
•A minimum of 15 years of experience as an attorney, with an extensive focus on corporate, contract, and employment law.

Education and Certification:
•Bachelor’s degree in law or Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
•Admission to the relevant state bar or equivalent legal certification.
