CEO needed for medical private Clinic in Benin in Africa.
a. Qualifications
• Graduate of a relevant professional or management degree from an
accredited university.
• MBA is preferable
b. Experience
• 10 years post graduate experience, with a reputation as an excellent
leader.
• At least 5 years in a similar role.
• Experience in multicultural health care environment.
• Experience with some form of hospital accreditation will be an asset.
• Skills in oral and written communication as well as computer literacy
(French and English).
• Knowledge and experience of quality infrastructure is needed, including
how to develop and implement decision tools, and outcome
measurement assessments.
• Needs experience in the healthcare industry to understand all its
complexities, changes in trends, requirements in various countries of
operation and implementation of new business.
c. Summary of Tasks
• The CEO is responsible for expanding the company, driving profitability,
and manage the overall operations of the company. Develop and
implement overall business strategy, build and lead a strong team, and
establish partnerships with stakeholders to ensure the success and
growth of the organization. The CEO leads and supports all aspects of
the company, and. adheres to the principles of continuous quality
improvement and ensures compliance with the Vision, Mission, Values
and Business Ethics of the organization, and all applicable laws in the
country pertaining to the company.
• Development and implementation of annual strategic plan, goals,
indicators and targets, and reporting outcomes to the Board of
Shareholders via presentations or written reports in collaboration with
the executive team.
• Provide effective management of the Executive team of the Hospital on a
day-to-day basis, ensuring the provision of appropriate, effective and
high-quality services and goods.
• Develop a comprehensive approach to best practice management,
ensuring the hospital remains able to provide services at all times, and to
anticipate and manage both opportunities and problems in service
delivery.
• Oversees the hospital's financial structure, ensuring adequate and
sound funding for the mission and goals of the company. Review and
approve the quarterly and annual budget for the company with the
accountant. Review all subsidiary annual budgets with accountant.
• Responsible for all operational activities, including contract
management with external service providers.
