Main Responsibilities
Technical Support:
1. Provide technical support to staff, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues promptly and effectively
2. Network Management: Manage and maintain the company’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other network systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance.
3. Software management: Administer and support server environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, software, and related infrastructure (VM server, Cisco routers, and switches)
4. Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data and systems from unauthorized access, and viruses, and ensure regular data backups.
5. Building, setting up, and configuring the appropriate equipment required by both new starters and existing employees as required for them to do their jobs.
6. Stay up to date with the latest technology advancements and provide training to staff on new technology
7. Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to procure and maintain IT equipment and services.
Software Support -System:
1. Collaborate with Software management to request edits, corrections, or revisions of any issues identified in the company’s IT software and verify whether these corrections if its effective.
2. Collaborate with brand managers and warehouse staff to regularly check and verify that the inventory records in the system accurately match the physical inventory address and any hidden or unaccounted-for items and generate detailed reports and analyses on inventory status and discrepancies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an IT Officer, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of networks and IT Software (wizard) is a plus.
4. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
5. Familiarity with data backup and recovery processes.
