Role Purpose:
The Commis is responsible for preparing, assisting in cooking and/or serving food orders in a timely manner and within the identified standards.
Key Responsibilities
Check the products needed on the section during opening to set par level and replenish missing items to ensure smooth operation
Cut and prepare all ingredients for cooking to enable a proper service of final dishes upon order
Clean the section, fridges, shelves and counter to ensure hygiene standards are followed at all times during the shift
Check the shelf life of products, tag the production/expiry date on each one and communicate the wasted one to limit the usage of expired products
Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes to produce dishes as per standards
Implement the quality and food safety management system as per the requirements of applicable national statutory and regulatory requirements as well as international standards and guidelines
Qualifications
High School Degree or Equivalent
0 -1 years of experience in F&B / Kitchen operations
