Responsibilities and Obligations:
-Supervises daily processing schedules and production orders, work procedures, and duty assignments
-Assists in developing and implement production tracking, analyzing production, quality, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems
-Assists in inventory and cost control programs assigned by management
-Set and implement standards, procedures, and processes for the manufacture of high-quality food products
-Oversees multiple-shift operations of the ready to eat products: processing/production department.
-Monitors raw material and packaging inventories to ensure adequate supply and freshness (rotation) to support production requirements
-Identifies opportunities for enhanced cost reduction, yield optimization, operational safety, and quality improvements.
-Maintains a visible presence on the plant floor to monitor machine operations and provide technical guidance during all production and sanitation phases.
-Checks on employees’ appearance / Hygiene, Orders of Raw Materials, Raw Materials availability, equipment (cleanliness, condition and in good working condition), “Produce Orders” invoices.
-Supervises dispatching: double checks orders during the dispatching process
-Fills in data to complete production report (production sheets)
-Directs and coordinates production, processing, distribution.
-Assists in setting and monitoring product standards, examining samples of raw products and directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
-Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met in production facilities
-Maintains a sanitary work environment through following established procedures and ensures all equipment is maintained and in good working order.
