Job Scope
The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations, including procurement, inventory management, transportation coordination, and supplier relationship management. This position requires collaboration with multiple departments to ensure seamless logistics support for ongoing projects while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize the supply chain process.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment processes.
Analyze logistical data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics for senior management review.
Collaborate with project managers to understand specific project needs and timelines.
Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding transportation and import/export activities.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers to enhance service delivery.
Conduct risk assessments related to logistics operations and develop mitigation plans.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles within the construction or engineering industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is preferred.
Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Proficient in using logistics software applications.
