JOB ROLE:
We're seeking a motivated and experienced Production Manager to manage the central kitchen and ensure food is being well prepared while applying the highest level of cleanliness and food safety.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- You will establish, implement, and maintain an effective Production Management system.
- You will assist in the cost optimization of all products and processes for better waste, and inventory management.
- You will monitor the output to ensure that food production meets established standards in terms of quantity, quality, and presentation.
- You will verify proper stock management, raw material and goods Ordering, Receiving, and Storage
- You will liaise with restaurant managers to understand their current and future product needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing activities.
- You will ensure the compliance of the Central Kitchen with Food Safety norms (FSSC) & HACCP
- You will coordinate with the restaurants on the training of restaurant kitchen staff and restaurant managers on the new product.
- You will develop, train, and contribute to continuously improving the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the team ensuring that they are qualified and competent, properly coached, in order to handle the demands of their jobs and achieve their objectives.
- You will ensure that Human Resources policies and regulations are well applied in the central kitchen.
- You will define and develop CK’s needed processes, procedures, and policies in compliance with the Company’s quality management system.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- Hospitality/ Food Production diploma
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Fluent in Arabic and English. French is a plus
- Knowledge of food production concepts and practices
- Quality and food safety oriented
- Computer literacy
