A well-known food Factory located in Bchamoun is looking for Food Safety & Quality Control Officer.
Tasks:
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the laboratory
- Develop and implement quality control protocols, including laboratory testing procedures, to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Oversee and coordinate laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to assess quality and safety.
- Ensure the accuracy and precision of analytical results and maintain testing equipment.
- Generate reports on laboratory performance, trends, and quality metrics.
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant food safety regulations.
- Participate in regulatory audits and inspections.
- Manage the laboratory budget, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and procurement of laboratory supplies and materials.
•Educational and Personal Qualifications and Work Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
•Extensive experience (5+ years) in laboratory management roles within the food industry.
•In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and relevant industry standards.
•Proficiency in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and data analysis.
