We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at a local sandwich restaurant known for our delicious sandwiches and exceptional service. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, helping to create a positive dining experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers as they enter and take their orders accurately and efficiently.
Process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the register and point of sale system.
Provide excellent customer service, answering any questions regarding menu items, ingredients, or promotions.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front counter and dining areas.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and promptly.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and care.
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with other tasks as needed, including restocking supplies and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
Qualifications:
Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
