Job Title: Operation Manager – Luxury Fashion Retailer

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-oriented General Manager (GM) to lead and oversee the operations of our client’s luxury fashion retail business. The GM will be responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and day-to-day management of multiple retail stores. As the GM, you will ensure that the brand’s values, service standards, and operational excellence are consistently upheld, while driving sales, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury retail management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage both strategic and tactical aspects of running a high-end fashion business.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Strategy
• Develop and implement the overall retail strategy to align with the company’s goals, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences and meeting revenue targets.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire the store managers and teams across all retail locations, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive store performance and ensure business objectives are met.
• Create and execute long-term business plans, setting clear objectives to optimize sales, profitability, and market presence.
2. Retail Operations Management
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail stores, ensuring efficient and smooth execution of business activities.
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that each store operates within financial guidelines while optimizing costs and maximizing profitability.
• Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising, store layout, and product display to ensure the store experience reflects the luxury brand’s image.
• Ensure stores are fully staffed, managing recruitment, onboarding, and training to maintain high levels of employee performance and satisfaction.
3. Sales and Marketing
• Drive sales performance by analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing targeted initiatives to boost store performance.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement promotional campaigns, events, and initiatives that elevate the brand and attract high-net-worth clientele.
• Cultivate strong relationships with VIP clients, offering personalized services and enhancing the customer experience to foster loyalty and long-term business growth.
4. Customer Experience
• Lead initiatives to deliver a world-class shopping experience by ensuring top-tier customer service, including handling escalated customer concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction at all touchpoints.
• Implement customer feedback systems to continuously improve the service level and product offerings based on client preferences and trends.
5. Inventory and Supply Chain Management
• Ensure effective inventory management by coordinating with the logistics team to monitor stock levels, ordering, and replenishment.
• Conduct regular stock audits and implement loss prevention measures to maintain inventory integrity.
• Work closely with the buying and merchandising teams to optimize product assortments across stores, ensuring high demand products are available.
6. Financial Management
• Monitor store performance against sales targets, cost control, and profitability goals.
• Develop and implement processes to streamline operational efficiency and reduce waste, improving the bottom line.
• Provide regular reports and forecasts on performance, budgeting, and market trends to the senior management team.
7. Brand Development and Compliance
• Ensure the brand’s luxury image and identity are upheld across all store operations, staff interactions, and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, local regulations, and health and safety standards in all retail locations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for brand expansion and differentiation.

Key Requirements:
• Experience: 7+ years in luxury fashion retail, with a proven track record of managing multiple retail stores and e-commerce. Previous experience as a Operation Manager, Retail Director, or similar leadership role is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
