About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Civil Engineer to join our team for a building construction project in Angola. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with extensive experience in managing and executing building projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the execution of building works on-site in accordance with project plans, specifications, and timelines
Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and resolve any issues that may arise during construction
Manage site resources efficiently, including materials, labor, and equipment
Assist in cost control, budgeting, and procurement processes related to the civil scope
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
7 to 10 years of proven experience in building construction projects
Previous international experience, especially in Africa, is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD)
Fluent in English;
