Lead daily operations of the plastic packaging lines to meet production, quality, safety, and cost targets. Supervise operators and technicians, drive continuous improvement, and ensure machines run reliably and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
Run shifts: meet daily production targets.
Quality checks: inspect finished packs and stop defects.
Machine oversight: monitor lines, report faults, and fix/manage minor issues.
Safety enforcement: maintain PPE use and safe work practices.
Team supervision: assign tasks and coach operators.
Materials control: track raw material use and minimize waste.
Required qualifications
Experience: Minimum 3 years supervising production in plastic packaging or similar manufacturing.
Technical skills: Familiarity with plastic processing equipment (extrusion, thermoforming, sealing) and basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Work style: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and ability to work rotating shifts.
