Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant supports the supermarket’s daily operations by performing a wide range of clerical, organizational, and administrative tasks. This role ensures smooth communication between departments, maintains accurate records, assists in scheduling, and helps management with various operational and customer service functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and clerical support to store management and department heads.
Prepare and maintain store documents, reports, invoices, and correspondence.
Assist with scheduling staff shifts, meetings, and appointments.
Handle data entry for inventory, sales, and payroll systems.
Support HR activities including onboarding, training documentation, and attendance tracking.
Monitor and order office and store supplies as needed.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
Assist with customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback as directed.
Help coordinate store events, audits, and compliance paperwork.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and employee information.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by management.
