The HR Officer is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in delivering efficient and effective HR services. This role involves handling recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, compliance, and other HR initiatives to ensure a positive and productive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in sourcing, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates.
Prepare job postings and coordinate with hiring managers.
Conduct background checks and employment verification.
Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
2. Employee Relations
Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
Help resolve workplace issues in line with company policies.
Promote positive working relationships and employee engagement initiatives.
3. HR Administration
Maintain and update employee records (soft and hard copies).
Prepare HR documents such as contracts, letters, and reports.
Support payroll processing by ensuring timely submission of attendance and other data.
4. Performance Management
Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems.
Track employee performance-related data and follow up on evaluations.
5. Compliance & Policy Management
Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
Support audits and maintain confidential HR records.
6. Training & Development
Identify training needs and help coordinate training programs.
Maintain records of training attendance and feedback.
