A well-established company, part of a diversified group of companies, is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join its team in Congo Brazzaville.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the company’s accounting operations
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and group policies
Supervise the accounting team and coordinate daily accounting activities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage tax declarations and ensure compliance with fiscal and legal requirements
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders
Support management with financial analysis and reporting
Profile Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in accounting, including a managerial role
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and local tax regulations
Proven leadership and team management skills
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
