A well-established construction company based in Angola is seeking to recruit a Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the company’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all accounting and financial activities of the company
Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements in Angola
Oversee payroll, invoicing, cost control, and project accounting
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities
Monitor project costs and profitability
Implement and improve financial controls and procedures
Provide financial analysis and reporting to management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the construction sector
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations
Experience in project-based accounting
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Previous experience in Angola or Africa is an advantage
Fluency in English is required; Portuguese is a strong advantage
