Administrative Assistant Job Duties:
• Conserves time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
• Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
o Prepare all the Journal Vouchers and other data entries
o Track and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts (bank transactions and reconciliation etc.)
o Issue a bi-weekly payment schedule
o Responsible for the petty cash
o Responsible for filing and organization of accounting department
o Responsible in coordination with the purchasing dept. for receiving goods and entry of invoices
o In charge of the expenditures and payments
o In charge of requesting monthly statements of accounts from suppliers
