Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the role of the technician is to perform semi-skilled maintenance, modifications and repairs in assigned maintenance operations areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform minor repairs and general maintenance of buildings, branches, and equipment.
- Carry out maintenance and basic repairs of BK kitchen and cooking equipment, including but not limited to broilers, hoods, fryers, grills, ovens, refrigeration units, and related accessories.
- Support multiple branches by responding to maintenance requests and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Replace broken windows, repair doors, change door locks and closets, and install window blinds across branches.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists for branch facilities and equipment, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Install electrical wiring and equipment, including new wiring, wiring during remodeling or renovations, and replace or repair wires as needed.
- Change and replace broken or burnt light bulbs in branches.
- Repair electrical equipment and control circuits; replace faulty electrical switches; and perform basic repairs on refrigeration equipment used in branches and kitchens.
- Repair electrical locks and control panels to maintain the security of buildings, offices, and branches.
- Coordinate with the IT department to install computer and network cables when required.
- Receive and manage fuel oil, cleaning materials, and maintenance-related supplies for branches.
- Perform any other duties related to maintenance and branch support as assigned by management.
