Location: Zekrit - maten.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist – Import & Supply Chain to manage the full import cycle within our growing FMCG company.
This role is critical in ensuring smooth, compliant, and cost-efficient import operations from international suppliers to final clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end import operations from booking to final clearance
• Coordinate directly with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers
• Prepare, review, and align all shipping and clearance documentation (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc.)
• Ensure proper handling and validity of import licenses and regulatory approvals
• Follow up on shipments, monitor ETAs, and proactively resolve delays
• Ensure compliance with local customs regulations and FMCG import requirements
• Communicate with international suppliers to ensure correct documentation and compliance procedures before shipment
• Coordinate internally with procurement, finance, and warehouse teams for smooth goods receipt
Profile & Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Import Specialist, preferably in an FMCG environment
• Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs clearance procedures, and documentation
• Experience handling food/non-food FMCG compliance requirements
• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously with high accuracy
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
