We are looking for an experienced Production & Maintenance Manager for Plastics manufacturing to join our team in West Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform and supervise maintenance of molds
• Maintain and troubleshoot injection molding machines
• Maintain and troubleshoot blow molding machines
• Operate and maintain In-Mold Labeling (IML) robots
• Manage raw materials, stock, and finished goods inventory
• Plan and schedule production to meet deadlines and efficiency targets
• Ensure machines operate efficiently and minimize downtime
• Coordinate with production and warehouse teams
Requirements:
• Proven experience in plastic manufacturing (injection & blow molding)
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with IML robotic systems
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management
• Ability to create and manage production schedules
• Good organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving mindset
• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering (preferred)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in plastic manufacturing
