Job Overview
The Maintenance Manager will ensure maximum uptime and efficiency of dairy processing equipment, packaging lines, and facility utilities such as refrigeration, boilers, and water treatment systems. The role involves leading the maintenance team, implementing preventive maintenance strategies, and ensuring compliance with food safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee maintenance and repair of production equipment, refrigeration systems, and plant utilities
• Ensure reliable operation of processing, dairy, and plastic production machines
• Manage all plant utilities and ensure uninterrupted operations
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life
• Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance technicians and electricians
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and procurement
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment breakdowns and implement long-term solutions
Qualifications
• Mechanical or Electrical Diploma (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision
• Experience in food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing
• Strong technical troubleshooting and leadership skills
