Job Summary:
The Demand Planning Manager role is responsible for forecasting product demand and aligning supply plans to ensure optimal product availability across all distribution channels. This position acts as a key link between Sales, Production, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to build accurate forecasts and drive efficient production planning.
The role ensures the right balance between service level, inventory optimization, and production capacity, while responding to seasonality, promotions, and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs
* Collaborate closely with Sales to incorporate promotions, campaigns, and seasonality
* Coordinate with Production and Supply Chain to align demand with manufacturing capacity
* Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock outs or overstock situations
* Participate in the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process
* Analyze forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning processes
* Generate reports and insights to support decision-making
