Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Solar Construction Manager to direct and oversee the on-site execution of our solar energy projects. You will be the primary point of contact on the construction site, ensuring that all installation activities align with the engineering designs, safety protocols, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily on-site construction activities for solar PV installations, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
• Manage and coordinate site personnel, including civil and electrical contractors, to optimize productivity.
• Enforce strict health and safety standards, conducting regular site audits and safety briefings.
• Resolve any on-site technical or logistical issues promptly to prevent project delays.
• Track material deliveries and manage site inventory in coordination with the procurement and storekeeping teams.
• Perform quality control inspections and facilitate the final commissioning and testing phases.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of on-site construction management experience, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in solar projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage diverse teams under pressure.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
