Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Projects Manager to lead and oversee large-scale aluminium and glass façade projects. The role involves managing the full project lifecycle—from design coordination and procurement to fabrication, installation, and final handover—while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple aluminium and glass façade projects including curtain walls, aluminium doors and windows, skylights, balustrades, and ACP cladding.
Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Supervise fabrication and installation teams to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
Monitor project progress, costs, and timelines, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building regulations, and project specifications.
Oversee procurement of aluminium profiles, glass panels, and related façade materials.
Manage subcontractors and ensure smooth coordination between site teams and management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 8–15 years of experience in project management within the aluminium, façade, or glazing industry.
Proven experience managing large commercial or high-rise building façade projects.
Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminium fabrication, and glass installation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience working in Africa or international project environments is an advantage.
PMP certification or similar project management qualification is a plus.
