SCOPE OF THE JOB
The Picker is responsible for gathering items from warehouse locations and preparing them for delivery or restocking.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to the picking schedule, ensuring efficient on-ground operations.
- Maintain an organised & efficient warehouse layout, by properly packaging material and arranging items on shelves/boxes to facilitate easy access to goods and improve storage capacity.
- Ensure correct items are picked based on SKU(s), barcode(s), or product descriptions.
Pack items into boxes, ensuring the correct quantities and products are selected, and clearly label each package with shipping or inventory details.
- Prepare Boxes for pick-up, ensuring they are securely protected and neatly organized for shipment or display.
- Conduct basic inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents, such as lifting items properly or using protective gear.
Work with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operation.
- Perform other duties that are aligned & related to the job scope.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High School Degree.
- Experience: At least 0-1 years of experience in similar field.
- Skills: Detail, ability to multitask, and physical endurance.
