Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Veterinarian to join our team at a poultry breeder (parent stock) farm in Iraq. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of the flock, implementing biosecurity measures, and ensuring high standards of animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor flock health and diagnose diseases
Develop and implement vaccination and treatment programs
Supervise farm staff and provide technical guidance
Ensure strict biosecurity and hygiene protocols
Maintain accurate health and production records
Coordinate with farm management to optimize productivity
Requirements:
Degree in Veterinary Medicine
Experience in poultry production, especially breeder farms (preferred)
Good knowledge of poultry diseases and vaccination programs
Ability to work in a farm environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
