A Wedding Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, ensuring smooth coordination during the event, and creating a warm, organized, and enjoyable experience for everyone attending the wedding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional attitude
• Assist guests with seating arrangements and guide them to their designated tables
• Provide information about the event schedule (ceremony, dinner, speeches, etc.)
• Coordinate with the wedding planner, vendors, and venue staff to ensure smooth flow
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues politely and efficiently
• Support the couple and their families with any immediate needs during the event
• Monitor guest areas to ensure comfort, cleanliness, and proper organization
• Assist in managing guest lists and confirming attendance if required
• Help maintain timing of key moments (entrance, cake cutting, first dance, etc.)
Skills & Requirements:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, approachable, and well-presented appearance
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
• Attention to detail
• Previous experience in hospitality, events, or customer service is a plus
