Job Summary:
The Accountant Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions. The role focuses on project-based accounting, cost control, and financial reporting within construction and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Manage cost accounting, budgeting, and project financial tracking for construction and logistics activities
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and manage treasury activities
• Review project cost allocations, inventory accounting, and asset/equipment depreciation
• Assist in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Maintain and improve accounting systems, controls, and procedures
• Coordinate with operations and procurement teams to ensure financial accuracy related to materials, shipments, and project expenses
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve cost control and profitability
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or CMA is a plus
• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in construction or logistics
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and contract billing
• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems, QuickBooks, PIMS) and advanced Excel skills
• Good understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting, and audit processes
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
