2. Job Purpose
The Procurement Coordinator supports the Procurement Manager in sourcing, ordering, and tracking materials, ingredients, packaging, and other goods required for the manufacturing plant. The role focuses on administrative and coordination tasks to ensure timely and efficient procurement operations.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support (preferably in F&B manufacturing).
Fluent in English is a must.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement systems.
Basic knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management.
4. Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in identifying and sourcing potential suppliers for materials, ingredients, and packaging.
Maintain and update supplier databases and records.
Support the Procurement Manager in preparing and processing purchase orders.
Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and documentation.
Track and update inventory levels to help prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt of goods.
Assist in supplier documentation, compliance records, and audit preparation.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and contracts.
Report any delivery delays or discrepancies to the Procurement Manager.
Assist in tracking procurement expenses and updating budget reports.
Stay informed about market trends and supplier availability.
Collaborate with production, finance, and quality teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Participate in internal meetings and provide administrative support when needed.
Coordinate with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and external logistics teams to ensure smooth and timely shipment processes.
Follow up on shipping documentation and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
Track shipments and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
