- Maintain a neat, clean and safe working environment and manage the store layout.
- Maintain and store material, tools, and spare parts.
- Organize the handing of materials for each cell in the factory.
- Implement a proper labelling, and receive items properly.
- Inspect deliveries for discrepancies or damages.
- Responsible for stock count of all items and materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records for all warehousing activities.
- Deliver items as per the BOM and coordinate with Production and Planning Managers for materials received into stock, and with Logistics for materials issued from stock.
- Keep the Stock Specialist informed of problems within the area of the warehouse and stock of items.
- Ensure that agreed date and manner of deliveries for all purchased goods are well realised.
- Flexible attitudes towards shift work with changing work hours caused by shift rotation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor for the overall benefit of the organization.
