Senior Mechanical Engineer – 400 Bed Hospital Project – Iraq
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team for a major 400-bed hospital project in Iraq.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise all mechanical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Lead site execution activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and schedules.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.
• Support procurement planning and material delivery schedules.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale projects.
• Previous experience in hospitals, healthcare facilities, hotels, airports, or complex buildings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
o HVAC Systems
o Chilled Water Systems
o Chillers, AHUs & FCUs
o Ventilation & Smoke Management Systems
o Medical Gas Systems
o Plumbing & Drainage Systems
o Fire Fighting Systems
o Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
