A leading company in Africa is looking for a Production Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing process of the production line (Cosmetics), ensuring efficient and smooth operations while maintaining the highest quality standards and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the development, performance, and maintenance of manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production and timely delivery while maximizing performance and profitability.
Assess production projects and resource availability to ensure effective implementation and execution.
Estimate, negotiate, and manage budgets, timelines, and production schedules in coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
Ensure production lines achieve agreed production targets while meeting quality and operational standards.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and increase productivity.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment across all production activities.
Establish and maintain quality control standards, ensuring strict adherence throughout the manufacturing process.
Organize production shifts, workforce planning, and task allocation to optimize operational performance.
Oversee preventive maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.
Identify training needs, organize development programs, and monitor team performance to support continuous improvement.
Design and execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production plans based on business requirements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best manufacturing practices.
Monitor production processes, analyze performance indicators, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments, including Quality Assurance, R&D, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Engineering, to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
Delegate responsibilities effectively while providing leadership, supervision, accountability, and performance evaluation for the production team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar production management role, preferably within the Cosmetics industry.
Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in production planning, process optimization, and cost control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/manufacturing systems.
Fluency in English; French is considered an advantage.
