Job Summary (French Language Proficiency is a must)

The Sales Supervisor – Plumbing is responsible for driving the commercial development of the domestic plumbing, industrial plumbing systems business unit. The role leads the sales teams and overseers market research, pricing strategy, and product portfolio management. All while ensuring revenue growth is achieved by expanding the customer base and maximizing sales performance across all categories related to the business unit.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Sales and After-Sales Team Management

Lead, supervise, and coordinate the Sales and team across multiple locations.
Provide objective performance evaluations of sales and technical teams.
Coordinate with the HR team for the recruitment needs of the business unit, and ensure continuous professional development and training of team members.
Define individual and team sales targets, establish performance-based incentive schemes, and monitor progress.
Develop and manage work schedules and sales activity plans for the commercial team.
Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence and business objectives.
Market Research, Pricing, and Competitive Analysis

Plan and oversee comprehensive market research within the electrical and renewable energy sectors.
Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with market conditions, competitive positioning, and company profitability objectives.
Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and provide strategic oversight and recommendations to strengthen the company’s market position.
Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
Inventory Management and Product Portfolio Development

Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate stock clearance initiatives.
Identify gaps within the business unit portfolio, including but not limited to pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, related plumbing accessories, and ensure the product range remains complete and competitive.
Contribute to the growth of the Electrical and Renewable Energy Business Unit by identifying and launching new products and solutions.
Work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to optimize product availability and inventory levels.
Business Development and Order Management

Grow the company’s customer portfolio, including plumbing contractors, industrial clients, engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and construction companies.
Develop strong relationships with key accounts and strategic contractors.
Support the order processing cycle in collaboration with the Procurement Department to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements.
Sales Reporting and CRM Management

Ensure accurate and timely updating of the company's CRM system by the sales team.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
Track and monitor outstanding quotations, unapproved proforma invoices, lost opportunities, conversion rates, and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
Analyze sales performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Professional Development

Work closely with Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and After-sales teams to ensure effective commercial execution.
Participate in industry seminars, exhibitions, and professional events related to electrical engineering and renewable energy to maintain up-to-date market and technical knowledge.
Promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the commercial team.
Compliance, Collaboration, and Internal Regulations

Comply with all company policies, internal regulations, procedures, standards, HSE and workplace requirements applicable to the role.
Maintain confidentiality of company information, customer information, financial information, and any other sensitive business data.
Perform all duties with professionalism, discipline, integrity, and respect for the company’s rules and reporting lines.
Report any irregularities, risks, violations, operational issues, or non-compliance matters to the direct manager or the relevant department in accordance with company procedures.
Cooperate with internal audits, inspections, reviews, investigations, and compliance checks when required.
Maintain proper documentation, records, reports, and system updates related to the role, in accordance with company requirements.
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and development activities to continuously improve professional knowledge, technical skills, role-related knowledge, and job performance.
